Account and data deletion

Request deletion of your HyperFocused account

This public page explains how users can request deletion of their HyperFocused account and associated data for the iOS app, Android app, and web app, even if the app is no longer installed.

Request steps

How to request account deletion

To protect users, deletion requests must come from the email address connected to the account or include enough information for us to verify ownership.

01

Send the request

Email support@hyperfocused.cyloxa.com with the subject "Delete my Hyper Focused account." Include your account email, full name, and whether you used iOS, Android, or web.

02

Verify ownership if needed

If we cannot confirm ownership from the request alone, we may ask for additional verification before deleting account data.

03

Deletion is processed

Approved deletion requests are usually completed within 30 days. We will confirm when the request has been processed.

Data deleted after approval

  • Hyper Focused account profile, login identity, and app preferences
  • Inspection reports, report drafts, templates, answers, deficiencies, and saved report data
  • Client, contact, property, service, scheduling, agreement, and workflow records linked to the account
  • Uploaded photos, videos, audio, documents, signatures, and notes linked to the account
  • Mobile and web app data associated with the verified account, unless retention is required by law or security obligations

Data that may be retained

  • Payment, invoice, tax, dispute, and compliance records that we are required to retain
  • Security, fraud-prevention, audit, and abuse-prevention logs needed to protect Hyper Focused and its users
  • Backup copies until they expire through our ordinary backup rotation
  • Anonymized or aggregated analytics that no longer identify the user or account

Retention and review information

We keep limited records only when required

Hyper Focused deletes account data associated with approved deletion requests. Limited records may be retained where necessary for legal, security, fraud prevention, regulatory, tax, payment, backup, or dispute-resolution purposes. Those records are kept only for the period required for those purposes and are not used for ordinary app account activity.
